The East Orange School District is committed to providing students with innovative technologies that will prepare them to be well-educated, global-minded citizens in an ever-changing digital society.
 
Mission
 
EOSD’s Educational Technology Department creates a rich digital learning environment for students that:
 
  • Provides access to a variety of digital content
  • Reinforces digital citizenship
  • Promotes the 4Cs: collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking
  • Encourages critical and design thinking
  • Advocates for computer science 
  • Promotes anytime/anywhere learning
  • Develop computational thinkers
 
Our goal is to boost student achievement, promote critical thinkers, and prepare students to meet the challenges of our evolving global society through a variety of technology tools and resources. Some of our initiatives are G Suite for Education, Makerspace, digital portfolios, computational thinking, and coding.
