good morning boys and girls it is with great joy and pride that I introduce to some of you who may not know her but I think most of you do Miss Kesha Burns is Kesha Burns is our Gordon Parks academy Educational Services professional of the year these birds is truly the heart and soul of our school community in her role as a teacher assistant she brings a quiet strength deep compassion and steadfast dedication to every student every classroom and every moment that she is a part of while much of her work happens behind the scenes the impact she makes is powerful lasting and deep felt not only by our Scholars but also by their families and her fellow educators 1 of the many things that makes Miss Burns so special is her incredible flexibility and naturally over the years she has stepped seamlessly into the role of Lead Teacher sometimes for months at a time in classrooms ranging from pre-k to grade 2 and every situation she has shown a firm commitment professionalism and a deep love for learning she ensures that our Scholars use Scholars continue to thrive grow and feel supported no matter the circumstance Miss Burns has a gift a remarkable ability to connect with Young Learners her calm presence patient guidance and encouraging Holy Spirit create a safe and nourishing nurturing space where students can truly shine her strong work ethic and deep understanding of effective teaching makes her not just a reliable team member but someone who we all look up to outside of school Miss Burns brings the same focus and passion to 1 of her favorite pastimes bowling she is an excellent bowler and proudly shares that Talent with her son Ty who is also quite the the standout on the lanes as Miss Burns continues on her path towards becoming a certified teacher we celebrate her journey and know that this honor is just 1 of many Milestones ahead please join me in congrat ating Miss Kesha burns on this well deserved recognition congratulations Miss Burns
